Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms (web, mobile apps, social media)
- Enforce community guidelines with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
- Resolve user disputes and escalate complex issues to senior moderators
- Document moderation activities and provide weekly performance insights
- Collaborate with product teams to improve chat features and user experience
- Participate in bi-weekly training sessions on new moderation tools and policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in online community moderation or customer support
- Exceptional written communication skills with native-level English proficiency
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during high-traffic periods
- Familiarity with moderation tools (e.g., ModSquad, Talkdesk, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital communication trends
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated home office space
