Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms to enforce community guidelines
- Resolve user disputes with empathy and professionalism while maintaining positive engagement
- Report and escalate high-risk content or policy violations to the security team
- Analyze chat patterns to identify emerging trends and improve moderation strategies
- Document moderation actions and provide weekly performance insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience
- Participate in monthly training sessions on platform updates and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in community moderation, customer service, or conflict resolution
- Exceptional written communication skills with neutral tone proficiency
- Ability to make quick judgment calls in high-pressure situations
- Proficient in using moderation tools (e.g., ModTools, Discord, Twitch)
- Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition abilities
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Resident of Las Vegas, NV with reliable high-speed internet
- Must pass background check and content moderation assessment
