The Role
As a Chat Moderator, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients. Your primary goal is to ensure user safety, maintain community standards, and resolve inquiries efficiently through text-based communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Monitor live chat streams to ensure compliance with community guidelines and safety policies.
- Respond to user inquiries promptly and professionally in a friendly, neutral tone.
- Identify and de-escalate potential conflicts or toxic behavior within chat rooms.
- Assist users in navigating platforms and resolving technical or account-related issues.
- Report technical bugs or content violations to the moderation team for review.
- Maintain a high level of data privacy and confidentiality during interactions.
Qualifications
- Must reside within the United States and be willing to work remotely.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with typing (minimum 35 WPM).
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with a neutral accent.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
