Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms
- Enforce community guidelines and content policies with consistency
- Escalate inappropriate content or technical issues to senior moderators
- Document moderation activities and prepare weekly performance reports
- Collaborate with product teams to improve chat safety features
- Train new moderators on platform-specific protocols
- Participate in quarterly strategy meetings for policy updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in content moderation or community management
- Exceptional written communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends/weekends
- Proficient in using moderation tools (e.g., ModSquad, Modera)
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's preferred
- Must pass background check and content assessment
