Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud infrastructure
- Generate detailed incident reports and executive summaries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence analysis
- Stay current with emerging threats and security frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal clearance preferred
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong analytical skills and threat mitigation expertise
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written communication for reporting and documentation
