Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, process, and perform exploratory data analysis on large, complex datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and aggregate data from relational databases.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in business data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and recommend data-driven solutions to optimize business operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar quantitative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and at least one visualization tool (Tableau/Power BI).
- Coding: Strong scripting skills in Python or R are highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Remote Work: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
