Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, aggregate, and scrub large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to interpret data patterns, identify market trends, and support business forecasting.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports that translate technical findings into actionable business insights.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with the IT and operations teams to automate manual reporting processes and improve data workflow efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present data findings to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely, facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- SQL Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve specific data points and support ad-hoc analysis requests.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) and Python or R for data manipulation is mandatory.
- Visualization Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Tableau or PowerBI for creating compelling data visualizations.
- Microsoft Suite: Advanced proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tracking tools.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
