Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to monitor KPIs and performance metrics.
- SQL & Reporting: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data and generate detailed reports for stakeholders across the organization.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to support business forecasting.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product and marketing teams to understand their data needs and deliver customized analytical solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and automate reporting processes to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a remote or hybrid setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python or R for data manipulation, and experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Tools: Strong command of Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and experience with ETL processes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail when handling sensitive data.
