Responsibilities
- Remotely diagnose and troubleshoot medical equipment malfunctions via secure remote access tools
- Proactively conduct preventive maintenance on diagnostic imaging systems
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for on-site support when required
- Maintain detailed digital service records and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams for equipment software updates and calibration
- Provide virtual training to hospital staff on equipment operation
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Technology (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years' experience with medical diagnostic equipment repair
- Valid Michigan Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification preferred
- Proficiency in remote diagnostic software and virtual troubleshooting tools
- Strong communication skills for telehealth interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have dedicated home office space with climate control
