Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via ticketing systems and live chat
- Deploy and configure company-provided equipment (laptops, peripherals, security tools) to new hires
- Document troubleshooting procedures and create knowledge base articles for self-service resources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security protocols and system updates
- Monitor system health and proactively address potential vulnerabilities
- Train users on new technologies and best practices for remote productivity
- Optimize virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) performance for distributed teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of remote IT support experience with proven troubleshooting expertise
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in Windows OS, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and endpoint security tools
- Exceptional written communication skills for virtual client interactions
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and remote monitoring tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home office environment
- High-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps) and dedicated workspace
