Responsibilities
- Hardware & Software Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for remote clients using remote access tools.
- Equipment Management: Receive, configure, and ship company-issued equipment to new hires and manage inventory for remote staff.
- Network Support: Assist with basic network connectivity issues, VPN setup, and troubleshooting for home office environments.
- Security Maintenance: Ensure all devices are compliant with security protocols, including antivirus updates and patch management.
- User Training: Provide clear, concise instructions to clients on how to use their equipment and software effectively.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and manage IT incidents and service requests using our ticketing system with a 24-hour response time commitment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support roles.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and remote desktop software (TeamViewer, LogMeIn, etc.).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Work Style: Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Location: Must reside in or near Charlotte, NC (or willing to commute).
