Responsibilities
- Coordinate Shipments: Manage inbound and outbound freight, ensuring accurate scheduling and timely delivery.
- Vendor Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for carriers and drivers, resolving logistics bottlenecks efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and update our logistics database to prevent stockouts.
- Documentation: Prepare and review bills of lading, commercial invoices, and shipping manifests with precision.
- Data Analysis: Track KPIs and freight performance to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional service to Columbus-based clients regarding shipment status and logistics inquiries.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or freight forwarding.
