Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of company equipment, from procurement to disposal, ensuring accurate tracking in our centralized database.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of hardware and software assets to remote employees.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels to prevent shortages and optimize asset utilization.
- Manage the deployment and setup of new remote workstations for incoming hires.
- Respond to equipment repair tickets and liaise with technical support teams to resolve hardware issues efficiently.
- Analyze usage data to identify trends and recommend improvements to our equipment management strategy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or equipment inventory control.
- Proven experience working successfully in a fully remote or distributed team environment.
- Strong proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar ERPs).
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to management.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
