Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee the tracking and lifecycle of all field equipment, from acquisition to decommissioning, ensuring 100% accuracy in inventory records.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage the scheduling and dispatching of equipment to job sites across Texas, optimizing routes and delivery timelines to minimize downtime.
- Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for equipment suppliers and maintenance vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all equipment provided to clients meets OSHA and industry safety standards, conducting regular compliance audits.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate detailed performance reports on equipment availability, utilization rates, and cost analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
- Remote Support: Provide remote technical support and logistical guidance to field managers regarding equipment specifications and rental agreements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or equipment rental industries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Office Suite skills.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving complex logistical challenges.
- Flexibility: Ability to work effectively in a hybrid (remote/on-site) environment and adapt to changing priorities.
