- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Utilize digital dictation systems and specialized medical terminology software
- Adhere to client-specific formatting guidelines and turnaround time requirements
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, and medical terminology accuracy
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical transcription experience in acute care or specialty clinics
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or RHDS credential preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital transcription platforms (e.g., Express Scribe)
- Exceptional typing speed (minimum 85 WPM) with 100% accuracy
