Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical dictations into electronic health records (EHRs) with 98%+ precision
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Utilize digital transcription platforms (e.g., Express Scribe, Nuance Dragon) for efficient workflow
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, and medical terminology accuracy
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
- Adapt to diverse medical specialties including cardiology, orthopedics, and radiology
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical transcription experience with EHR proficiency
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or Registered Medical Transcriptionist (RMT) preferred
- Exceptional typing speed (85+ WPM) with 99% accuracy
