- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and medical coding compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA privacy regulations and data security protocols.
- Leverage speech recognition technology (e.g., Dragon NaturallySpeaking) to maximize productivity.
- Communicate professionally with physicians and healthcare staff regarding unclear dictation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in medical transcription.
- Strong command of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Exceptional typing speed (minimum 65 WPM) and high accuracy rate.
