- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into text documents with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality standards and HIPAA compliance guidelines.
- Manage and organize files digitally in our secure cloud-based system.
- Meet daily and weekly production deadlines consistently.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding difficult audio files or specific terminology.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Medical Administration preferred.
- Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM with a 98% accuracy rate.
- Proficiency with transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking).
- Strong command of the English language, including medical terminology.
- Previous experience in medical or legal transcription is highly desirable.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
