We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for accuracy and a flexible schedule. In this role, you will convert voice recordings into written medical reports, ensuring patient records are up-to-date and confidential. This is a fully remote position allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while supporting our elite medical team.
Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe medical reports accurately and efficiently.
- Proofread and edit transcribed documents for grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology errors.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards at all times.
- Manage multiple files and deadlines in a high-volume remote environment.
- Utilize specialized medical transcription software and tools effectively.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers for clarification when necessary.
- Ensure timely delivery of all transcription assignments to meet departmental KPIs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) is preferred.
- Previous experience in medical transcription, preferably in a remote setting.
- Excellent command of the English language, including advanced grammar and spelling skills.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Ability to type at least 60 WPM with high accuracy (99%+).
