Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical dictation from various specialties with a focus on 99% accuracy and adherence to client deadlines.
- Review and edit transcribed documents for grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology consistency.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and speech recognition tools efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations and company confidentiality policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify ambiguous dictation or resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional medical transcription experience.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Typing speed of 65+ words per minute (WPM).
- Home office setup with a high-speed internet connection and a quiet working environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
