Responsibilities
- Monitor and resolve critical IT system issues during night hours (10 PM - 6 AM CT)
- Provide remote technical support to global employees via ticketing systems and chat
- Perform system backups, security patches, and overnight maintenance tasks
- Document incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in ITSM tools
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless cross-shift handovers
- Proactively identify and escalate emerging infrastructure risks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT support experience with night shift or after-hours exposure
- Expertise in Windows/Linux systems, networking, and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification required
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work autonomously
- Excellent written communication for documentation and collaboration
- Experience with remote monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Flexibility to work weekends during critical maintenance windows
