Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Automation & CI/CD: Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Containerization: Manage container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes to streamline application delivery.
- Monitoring & Logging: Implement robust monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security best practices and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA) across all environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with development teams to define best practices and improve software development workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar engineering role.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong proficiency in AWS or Azure with deep knowledge of services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Scripting: Expert-level proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and scripting.
- Tools: Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and Ansible for configuration management.
- Remote Work: Demonstrated ability to self-manage, communicate effectively via Slack/Teams, and maintain productivity in a remote environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
