Responsibilities
- Monitor System Health: Proactively monitor server performance, network traffic, and system alerts during the night shift to prevent downtime.
- Ticket Resolution: Prioritize and resolve high-priority IT support tickets and service requests with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Remote Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix technical issues for remote employees, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
- Security & Access: Manage user access rights and enforce security protocols to ensure data integrity during off-hours.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system.
- On-Call Rotation: Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to handle critical outages that may arise overnight.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Systems Administration.
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM EST).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and remote desktop tools (VPN, RDP).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Tools: Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
