Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Remote Night Shift Technical Lead to join our elite team in Washington, DC. This is a fully remote, 100% Work From Home position requiring a dedicated availability for night operations.
As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will ensure seamless system operations during off-peak hours, handle complex technical escalations, and drive technical strategy for our remote workforce.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the health and performance of our cloud infrastructure during night hours.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical system failures and security incidents.
- Manage and mentor junior remote engineers during the night shift rotation.
- Implement automated monitoring solutions to predict potential downtime.
- Conduct post-mortem analyses to improve system reliability and documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or DevOps.
- Proven track record of successfully working in night shift environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Exceptional ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a remote setting.
