Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to take ownership of our core product features. You will bridge the gap between technical strategy and execution, ensuring high-quality code delivery and smooth deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior and mid-level developers to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Architect robust backend systems and APIs that can handle high traffic and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement performance optimizations for web applications.
- Mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a remote or distributed team environment.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java, and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Deep understanding of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL) and RESTful API design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
