Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe complex medical dictations including patient histories, diagnostic reports, and operative summaries
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Edit and format transcriptions to meet client specifications and industry standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and digital tools for efficient document processing
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining 98%+ accuracy in final deliverables
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve documentation quality
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical transcription experience with verifiable references
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or RHDS credential preferred
- Exceptional typing speed (minimum 85 WPM) with 98%+ accuracy
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology
