Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical/legal/audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for patient/client information
- Format documents according to client specifications and style guides
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Proofread transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology
- Utilize digital dictation software and transcription platforms
- Communicate promptly with quality assurance teams for clarification
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology (CPC/CCE certification preferred)
- Typing speed of 75+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Reliable high-speed internet and noise-free home office
- Strong command of English grammar and punctuation
- Ability to manage deadlines independently
- Experience with ExpressScribe or similar transcription software
- HIPAA compliance knowledge
