Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings of medical dictations with 98%+ accuracy
- Format transcriptions according to client-specific guidelines (HIPAA-compliant)
- Research and clarify medical terminology using provided references
- Meet daily/weekly production targets without compromising quality
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information per HIPAA regulations
- Perform quality self-checks before submission
- Communicate technical issues promptly to support team
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year medical transcription experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology (CMT preferred)
- Typing speed of 75+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Reliable high-speed internet connection

- Experience with ExpressScribe or similar software
