Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical dictation with 99%+ accuracy across diverse specialties
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
- Format and edit transcripts using EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Meet daily production quotas (1,200 lines/day) with quality assurance
- Research and clarify medical terminology using reference materials
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical transcription experience with AHDI certification
- Exceptional typing speed (85+ WPM) and 98%+ accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in EHR systems and transcription software (e.g., MModal)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- High-speed internet and quiet home office environment
