Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical/legal audio recordings with 99%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive patient/client data
- Format documents according to client specifications (CMS, BOS, etc.)
- Meet daily production quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize digital foot pedals and specialized transcription software
- Perform quality self-reviews before submission
- Communicate technical issues promptly to support team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology
- Ability to type 85+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- High-speed internet connection and noise-free workspace
- Experience with ExpressScribe, InScribe, or equivalent software
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards
- Self-motivated with proven ability to meet deadlines
