Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 99%+ accuracy across medical, legal, and general business domains
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and optimize keyboard shortcuts for efficiency
- Format documents according to client specifications (templates, timestamps, speaker identification)
- Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure grammatical accuracy and consistency
- Meet daily/weekly production targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Collaborate with editors and proofreaders to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience with verifiable references
- Exceptional typing speed (80+ WPM) with zero errors
- Proficiency in medical terminology (CPC/CBC certification preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style guides
