Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical/legal/audio recordings into written documents with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for sensitive patient information
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Format and edit transcripts according to client specifications
- Research and clarify medical terminology inconsistencies
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
- Manage confidential data with strict security protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology (CCHI or AHDI certification preferred)
- Minimum 85 words per minute typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Strong command of English grammar and punctuation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High-speed internet connection and quiet home office
- Experience with ExpressScribe or similar transcription software
