Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical dictation from physicians and healthcare providers with 99%+ accuracy
- Ensure timely completion of transcription assignments within 24-hour turnaround
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA compliance)
- Format and edit transcripts to meet client specifications
- Utilize digital transcription software and foot pedals efficiently
- Review and correct transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical transcription experience
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional typing speed (80+ WPM) with high accuracy
- Proficiency in medical terminology (anatomy, pharmacology, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare documentation standards
