Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical/legal audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols
- Format documents according to client specifications
- Meet daily transcription quotas of 120 minutes of audio
- Utilize Express Scribe and other digital transcription tools
- Proofread transcripts for grammatical errors and consistency
- Collaborate with editors to resolve unclear audio segments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- 70+ words per minute typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy
- Experience with EHR systems like Epic or Cerner
