- Transcribe medical dictations with 98%+ accuracy following industry standards
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data security
- Format documents according to client specifications and templates
- Research and clarify medical terminology using reference materials
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets with consistent quality
- Utilize transcription software and digital foot pedals efficiently
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, and clarity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical transcription experience
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe)
- Exceptional typing speed (minimum 75 WPM) with high accuracy
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet home office
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
