Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 99%+ accuracy across diverse industries
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and maintain organized digital file systems
- Meet daily/weekly turnaround deadlines while maintaining quality benchmarks
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and technical accuracy
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies
- Continuously update industry terminology knowledge through training modules
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in Express Scribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, or equivalent software
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Ability to transcribe 80+ words per minute with high accuracy
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology or willingness to complete certification
- Quiet, dedicated home office environment with reliable high-speed internet
- Strong time management and deadline adherence capabilities
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required
