- Accurately transcribe audio/video recordings across medical, legal, and general business sectors
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and editing tools for maximum efficiency
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining 98%+ accuracy
- Research and clarify complex terminology through reference materials
- Format transcripts according to client specifications and style guides
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and continuous improvement processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in 65+ WPM typing with 98%+ accuracy
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology (certification preferred)
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Advanced proficiency in ExpressScribe or equivalent software
- Must reside within 50 miles of San Antonio, TX
