Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio/video content across diverse industries (legal, medical, corporate)
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and data security standards
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining 98%+ accuracy
- Format documents according to client specifications (templates, timestamps, etc.)
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, clarity, and completeness
- Utilize transcription software and research tools efficiently
- Communicate proactively with project managers on deadlines and issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 75+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and style
- Familiarity with transcription software (Express Scribe, InqScribe, etc.)
- Ability to handle technical terminology across multiple fields
- Strong time management and self-discipline for remote work
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace
