- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Utilize advanced transcription software (Express Scribe, InScribe) and digital foot pedals
- Perform thorough proofreading and editing to eliminate grammatical errors
- Meet daily productivity quotas while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Format documents according to client-specific style guides and requirements
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience with verifiable references
- Exceptional typing speed (85+ WPM) with 99% accuracy
- Proficiency in medical terminology and/or legal terminology
- Advanced knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and style guides
- Ability to independently manage deadlines in a remote setting
- Experience with digital transcription software and cloud-based platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills for unclear audio recordings
