Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical/legal/audio recordings into written documents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive patient/client data
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining 98%+ accuracy rate
- Format documents according to client specifications (HIPAA-compliant)
- Utilize transcription software and digital foot pedals efficiently
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammatical/technical errors
- Communicate with QA team to resolve unclear audio segments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in 65+ WPM typing with exceptional accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology or legal jargon
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Ability to use ExpressScribe or equivalent software
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required
- Phoenix metro area residency preferred for timezone alignment
