Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical dictations across specialties including cardiology, orthopedics, and radiology
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards for all patient data handling
- Format documents using EHR platforms (Epic/Cerner experience preferred)
- Proofread transcripts for grammar, clarity, and medical terminology accuracy
- Maintain 98.5% quality score with consistent turnaround times
- Collaborate with senior editors to resolve complex terminology queries
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical transcription experience
- Credentialled (CMT/RMT) or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe and digital foot pedals
- Exceptional knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proven ability to meet daily production quotas (150+ lines/hour)
- Quiet, dedicated home office with reliable high-speed internet
- Strong command of English grammar and punctuation
