- Transcribe medical dictation with 99% accuracy across diverse specialties
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards for all patient data handling
- Format transcriptions according to client-specific style guides
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize digital foot pedals and transcription software efficiently
- Self-manage workload and deadlines without supervision
- Communicate technical issues promptly to the quality assurance team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional medical transcription experience
- Credential: Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist (RHDS) preferred
- Typing speed of 80+ words per minute with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe, M*Modal, or equivalent software
- Exceptional command of medical terminology and anatomy
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet home office
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- U.S. citizenship required for compliance
