- Transcribe audio files into text with high accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure grammar, punctuation, and spelling are flawless.
- Adhere to specific formatting guidelines and client specifications.
- Meet daily and weekly production quotas consistently.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive client information.
- Communicate effectively with the quality assurance team regarding complex audio segments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven typing speed of 65+ WPM (words per minute).
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and spelling.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and transcription software.
- Previous experience in medical or legal transcription is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
