Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical dictations across specialties (cardiology, orthopedics, etc.)
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data security
- Edit and format transcripts for clinical documentation standards
- Meet daily productivity targets with 99% accuracy rate
- Utilize EHR systems for seamless document integration
- Collaborate with clinical teams for clarification needs
Qualifications
- 2+ years medical transcription experience
- CCS or RHIT certification preferred
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe and EHR platforms
- Typing speed: 85+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Deep knowledge of medical terminology (BOS 4th ed.)
- Ability to manage confidential data with discretion
