As a Remote Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting audio recordings into clear, formatted text documents. This role is critical to our operations, ensuring that medical and legal professionals have access to accurate, timely documentation. Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written text with a focus on 99% accuracy.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting consistency.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and manage high-volume workloads efficiently without compromising quality.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance regarding all patient and client data.
- Utilize transcription software and foot pedals to maximize productivity and workflow.
- Follow specific client guidelines, style guides, and industry standards for each assignment.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding complex cases or technical issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or certification in Medical Transcription is preferred.
- Proven experience in transcription with a minimum typing speed of 60 WPM.
- Strong command of the English language, including advanced grammar and spelling skills.
- Access to a high-speed, reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
