Responsibilities
- Transcribe and edit medical dictation from diverse healthcare specialties with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and maintain strict confidentiality protocols
- Utilize digital transcription software and medical terminology databases efficiently
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
- Format and deliver finalized reports in required electronic health record (EHR) systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional medical transcription experience
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or RHDS credential preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital transcription platforms
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
- Ability to type 80+ WPM with high accuracy
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Dallas, TX residency preferred for local support coordination
