- Adhere to strict deadlines and manage your daily audio quota effectively.
- Utilize medical transcription software and hardware efficiently.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance regarding patient data.
- Communicate effectively with quality assurance teams regarding unclear audio or queries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional transcription experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
- Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 65-75 WPM).
- Experience with speech recognition software and foot pedals.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
