- Format documents according to client specifications and industry standards
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance requirements
- Manage turnaround times with efficient time management and prioritization
- Perform quality self-reviews to ensure grammatical precision and terminology accuracy
- Utilize specialized transcription software and digital tools effectively
- Communicate proactively with quality assurance team for complex terminology
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience in medical/legal fields
- Proven typing speed of 85+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Proficient in medical terminology (CPC or CMT certification preferred)
- Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and style
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
