Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and convert them into accurate text documents.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and factual accuracy.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client data and sensitive information.
- Adhere to specific formatting guidelines and style sheets provided by the client.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality standards.
- Utilize transcription software and hardware effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in transcription (Medical, Legal, or General preferred).
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM with high accuracy.
- Strong command of the English language, including spelling and grammar.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
