- Audio-to-Text Conversion: Convert audio recordings of medical consultations, surgeries, and patient visits into accurate, formatted text documents.
- Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure 99% accuracy in grammar, spelling, and medical terminology.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.
- Formatting: Utilize specialized software to format documents according to specific client guidelines and medical coding standards.
- Research: Utilize medical reference tools to clarify unclear audio segments and verify proper terminology.
- Deadlines: Meet daily and weekly production quotas efficiently without compromising on quality.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in medical transcription or equivalent administrative role.
- Skills: Excellent command of the English language and strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Typing Speed: Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM with high accuracy.
- Software: Proficient in transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Setup: Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and follow instructions precisely.
